Kids in elementary school will join us in our grade specific elementary small groups. Our small groups have no more than 10 kids with a consistent small group leader every Sunday. We want to connect with your kids and build relationships as we tackle big questions about God. Elementary kids will learn about God’s character and love through bible stories with practical life applications. Why are life applications so important? Kids need to know how it matters before it will matter. Each month we talk about a new life application, a quality of God’s nature that he instills in his followers. 

 

WHAT WE DO

 

We plan a full hour for your child that includes games, Bible stories, songs, crafts, and best of all, small group time for prayer and discussion. Our Elementary children begin the morning in worship with you. At 9:45, elementary kids will be dismissed from worship service. Our ER Kids team will lead them back to the ER Kids area for our Large Group gathering. In Large Group, kids will participate in an interactive bible story. This is a fun production they won't want to miss! After Large Group, Elementary students break into their small groups and head to their classrooms. Kids will dig into the bible and learn about God in meaningful and developmentally appropriate ways through hands-on activities.

 

In our Elementary small group, we want every child to know 3 things: 

 

1.) I need to make the wise choice

2.) I can trust God no matter what

3.) I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
